The second day of the SciTech Futures ideation exercise is nearing an end, and we appreciate the great ideas posted by all participants, from redcell254’s “Cybernetic Super-Sniffers” to stealth2016’s “AI Research Assistants” to this adorable guy.

Through two days, you have contributed 41 unique sparks in the Imaginarium, 48 fully formed ideas that have inspired conversation and led to 76 improvements in the Workshop with 25 of those ideas migrating to the Marketplace, where they have garnered nearly $120,000 in investment in the Marketplace. Remember to indicate when you think we’ll see some of these technologies, or won’t, by voting on the timeline.

redcell254, Echo, and nmk47 top the Leaderboard for day two, but stealth2016 is coming on strong. On the idea side, “Recon-by-Wire” is leading in the investment totals.

The Spark with the most reactions so far remains “Cybernetic Insects. Seriously.” The idea that generated the most discussion is Machine Augmentation to Staff Functions.

The art team has been busy visualizing everyone’s concepts, and here are a few of today’s contributions. We’ll be back tomorrow, and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @scitechfutures.
