Week one is done and with the all the effort players have put forward imagining 2045, we’re tearing up… though it might be Mike’s “Smart Dust”, a cloud of RFID tags that can easily, and subtly, track men and materiel. Back to the macro scale, it’s tough not to wonder if maybe we’re rehashing some earlier ideas, as ersatzersatz points out in the Imaginarium with their posts about the original Teletank and other technological gadgets we’ve seen before. Something to think about as we roll into the weekend.

We’ve crossed 400 reactions in the Imaginarium, with 68 total Sparks, with the most reacted to being “Cybernetic Insects. Seriously.” while “Future of Electronic Warfare and Communications” has inspired the most ideas. Speaking of Ideas, there are 78 under construction in the Workshop, with 45 having been inspired by Sparks. “FC-48 Fabship Aircraft” hangs on as the highest scoring idea. In the Marketplace 70 items are gathering investment, with 344 separate investments so far. “Recon-by-Wire” leads in dollar amount, while “WE are the BORG” is leading the conversation.

Echo leads the scoring for Friday, with redcell254 holding on to the top score spot for the week, while nmk47 leads for number of Sparks. Thanks to all of our players for their hard work this week, the game will be open all weekend, and we’ll be back Monday!
