Man portable device a single soldier can attach to a building's external electric power connection. The device generates an RF signal through the building's existing wiring. Reflections of this signal could help detect and localize people and weapons inside without the need to enter the structure.
Does not require LOS. Does not require physical entry. Takes advantage of existing infrastructure during urban operations.
Reduces risks associated with physical entry and room clearing (IEDs, ambushes, etc.)
May also be adaptable to urban search and rescue.
